Hi! There is also an AY-5-8500 (note the -5- !!!) In your AY-3-8500 die shot, I only see 24 output contacts (not 28), so the AY-5-8500 could be a different chip from the AY-3-8500!! bye! (very hard to find one, I suppose....)
